I suppose I should write something about the war. The "decapitation strike" ... and then the slow realization that it isn't going to be that easy.

Would that the bombs would just stop, but that's not going to happen. We are in for a rough ride. George W. Bush is by his own admission, black and white. When he says he's going to do something, he does it, as Monty (and Dick Cheney) said. I don't know if any amount of protest will change that.

It's going be ugly, over here and over there.

It's a harsh reality, brought straight into our livingrooms from the frontlines. I have to give "them" credit for embedding the media. I know that the Army censors get a crack before the corporte editors. Who knows if the "real" story is being told. The journalists who survive will all have stories to tell when they get home.

And all is not lost on the homefront. Life continues, however tenuous it may be. There's always a bit of humor to find admidst the craptitude of the day. This bit o' Usenet fun from alt.guitar.bass is a fine example.

LOL...check this moron out.

Lakland Basses are a good deal better than Ibanez basses. Which is kinda funny, in a bass sorta way.

But never forget, It's important to take the big picture view to fully appreciate the craptitude of the situation.
